Spent the day looking at many, many computer screens over at Iberdrola Renewables, the second-largest wind operator in the U.S. They contracted NashCO to create promotional video and stills for their Pearl District Offices which meant a trip to the trading desk and then their National Control Center. Which sounds pretty fancy. And actually was pretty fancy. Weather and trading and colorful screens and lots of folks looking rather intent. We had run of the place; setting up lights, asking questions, lightly directing scenes (very lightly, or they looked staged) all while trying to make sure everyone had fun and got their work done (us included). The end result? Happy client, interesting public relations images of people looking at screens, and we now possess a wealth of wind pattern knowledge. Just a win-win all around.
